It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

So I have decided to participate in my first meme. This one is hosted by One Person's Journey Through a World of Books, and I want to give credit where credit is due so I want to let you know I heard about it through Bookworming in the 21st Century. The point is basically to share what you've reading, what you're reading and what you think you're going to read.

Read This Past Week:
Challengers of the Unknown Must Die! by Jeph Loeb
Antique Bakery, Volume 3 by Fumi Yoshinaga
Buzzboy Trouble in Paradise by John Gallagher
Black Jack, Volume 2 by Osamu Tezuka
Rock and Roll Love by Misako Rocks!
The Poison Eaters and Other Stories by Holly Black
The Splendor Falls by Rosemary Clement-Moore

Currently Reading:
Beka Cooper #1 Terrier by Tamora Pierce
Essential Moon Knight, Vol. 1 by Doug Moench, Bill Sienkiewicz, Bill Mantlo

Upcoming Reads:

I linked everything to GoodReads so people could add to their to read lists if they wanted. Someday I hope to be able to post reviews of everything I read, but I know while my boss is on maternity leave it's not going to happen. And in case anyone was wondering all of these books (and the 25 others I have out) are all from the library.

  1. WOW, you read a lot last week and have a brilliant line-up this week. Happy reading. My Monday:

  2. Did you like Goose Girl? It's one of my all-time favorites! And the author lives just an hour away from me!

  3. Emily at first I just couldn't get into Goose Girl, I felt like Ani was wishy washy and I was disappointed in her. But as the book went on and she became a stronger character I was so impressed with her growth that I really ended up loving it. I am going to try and post a review for that one later this week.

  4. Wow you've had a busy reading week! I haven't read any of the books you posted so I'll have to check some of those out. I liked your review of the women superhero book as well. I'm a huge fan of both graphic novels and strong female characters, so that post was great! Have a great week! :)

  5. If you do decide to read The Supergirls book make sure you check out the authors website. He has excerpts from all of the comic books he talks about so you can see the specific examples. It's extremely cool.

  6. Hi, Rosalia -

Thanks for stopping by my blog and taking the time to comment - and for the tip on the Phantom Tollbooth movie!

Wow, that's quite a weekly reading list! I can see why you don't have time for reviews right now. I'm on Goodreads, too, though I don't always have time to update it (maybe tomorrow...) I'll look for you there.

  7. Welcome! :D Love the books on your list! You had an amazing week! Enjoy this week too!
